Capitec Bank - VFX & Post
We were approached to create a visual effects piece that embodied that Capitec Bank brand. The commercial had to tell the visual story behind the three simple banking solutions offered.
It was unique in that the CG environment had to evolve from an"old school" feel into a contemporary one. During the concept phase we disected the the brief into the simplest element and then started to develop tools specifically geared toward this project.

We where commissioned by Warner Bros to handle the Vampires. So we were left with no choice but to send out our best unit to do just that. In collaboration with Jeremy Hattingh (Pipeline Supervisor) and Andre van der Merwe (South African VFX Producer) our boutique consortium managed to produce some pretty "sick" shots.

Bonaqua - VFX (Article)
Finding the balance between performance and natural looking fluids was the goal, while we concentrated heavily on the art direction of the CG water we still retained the natural believable characteristics.

Catherine likes to work in both traditional and digital media. Her traditional work is graphic and expressive, paralleled with her affinity to mixed media and a technique called gouache resist. Her digital work, on the other hand, tends to a more painterly and plush sensibility.
